Michael Birawer

Michael was born, raised and currently resides in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. Over the past 10 years he has been a professional artist honing his unique style of oil painting.

His current series, “Scenes from the Twin Cities” captures the connection between the area's neighborhoods and history through its architecture and people. By blending popular culture with unique city scenes, Michael makes his art accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds.

“I paint in this style to capture the true mood of the settings. I like to exaggerate the personalities of the people and architecture to create a feeling that compels the viewer to escape into the scene.”

Michael continues to paint intriguing urban settings of his hometown to further expand the current collection.
