Buying From Inventory

At Doubletake Gallery, we prefer that you talk to someone before you order, just to make sure you receive what you're expecting. You can call (952) 224-8333 or email us. We accept checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover Card, American Express and PayPal.

If you live in or around the Minneapolis-St.Paul, Minnesota area, you can stop by our gallery at 160 Glenwood Ave, Minneapolis, MN (right next door to the Minneapolis Farmers Market). Please call in advance to schedule a time and to let us know which pieces that you're interested in.

When you place an order for a piece that's in stock, it's marked as "Sold" and shipped to you. We guarantee the condition and authenticity of the piece and give you the option to return it for a full refund, or replace it, if you're not satisfied.

Most of the art that you receive from us will be unframed. There are rare situations when the framing that's currently on the piece will be just what you're looking for, but for the most part, you'll want to pick out new framing that fits your style, taste and decor. If you prefer, we can ship directly to the framer of your choice, eliminating the hassle of moving a large box one more time.

Buying From Classified Ads

Classified Ads on Doubletake Gallery are artwork pieces that are still in the possession of the seller. Most other Internet classified ad services require the seller to ship directly to the buyer. Not us. When you order something that's advertised as a classified ad, we have the seller ship the piece to us. We carefully inspect the condition of the piece and verify the authenticity before shipping the piece to you. If we find anything wrong with the piece, we don't ship it to you, and we don't charge your credit card.

Once we're satisfied that the artwork is what you're looking for, we ship it to you. When you receive the artwork, you have 2 days to approve the condition of the piece. If you're not happy with the condition of the artwork after you receive it, we'll take it back and give you a choice between a replacement piece or a full refund of the purchase price. Only after you've approved the condition of the piece, do we transfer the payment to the seller. Both parties are protected right through to the conclusion of the transaction. Our job isn't done until you say it is.

Even if we're not displaying the artwork that you're lookimg for, we can probably still get it for you. We have professional relationships with hundreds of artists, art publishers, and other art galleries which we use to find what you want. Don't waste time calling dozens of people you don't know, when we already know who to call.
