By the age of thirty, Kinkade had already co-authored a best selling art instructional book and completed more than 600 paintings required for his role as background painter for the animated motion picture "Fire and Ice". Since leaving the film industry in 1982, Kinkade's paintings have been featured in many exhibitions. His paintings are in over 500 private and corporate collections.
