 | Theo Tobiasse was born in Israel in 1927 and moved with his family to Paris in 1931. During the German occupation they survived by hiding in total isolation for two years. After the war Theo started a career as a graphic designer. Siunce 1961 he decided to concentrate on painting only.
Over the years Tobiasse has held many exhibitions in the USA, European countries, and Japan, and his works, paintings, drawings and ceramic creations are in important private and public collections. His most recent exhibition was held at the museum of Saint Paul de Vance, France, in 1998. |
