| Christine has been painting since the age of seventeen, having started at a local painting school using oils, and working on small landscape studies. Over the years she has progressed to trying out all the major media and now spends most of her time on floral and garden paintings. Landscapes remain of great interest, however, and Christine is working on trying to mix this with the subject of gardens. She enjoys using most types of media and has recently done quite a number of pieces in pastel. Christine prefers the stronger colours offered by media such as the pastels, and also oils; and occasionally experiments with the brighter hues found in acrylic inks. |
